Vocals and instrumental sounds are clear and loud. We listened to both music and movies through these speakers. We were impressed by the quality of sound and its clarity. For movies, a 3.1 system is a much better choice. Out of the box the accuracy of these speakers is quite good. They have good separation and powerful soundstage.

MartinLogan 60 XTi has a balanced sound profile. They sound musical with a good punch in the low ends. We listened to them for long hours without any ear fatigue. They sound clear at all volume levels without any noticeable distortion. Although they are bit costly, the sound is impressive and worth this high price. Even if you consider yourself an audiophile, you will be pleased with these.

MartinLogan Motion 60XTi has an MDF body that has thick front baffle along with internal bracing. It is designed to eliminate any vibration or resonance. Use the magnetic cloth grille to protect the drivers. It comes with rubber and spike feet that you can use based on the room floor type.



MartinLogan Motion 60XTi is a 3-way tower speaker that has Folded Motion XT tweeter with low mass diaphragm. The tweeter is designed to have dispersion throughout a wider area. It has efficient highs that are detailed and dynamic. It has a 6.5” midrange driver, has good rigidity and, the mids are clean and precise. Low ends fron dual 8” woofer driver packs a punch needed to enjoy music and movies. They can deliver room-filling sound that is powerful enough to fill up big sized living rooms.  

To ensure more accurate sound, the woofers are located at the lower side of the cabinet. It has an intelligent crossover design, and this low positioned woofer design ensures a flat response. To improve the bass response, the speaker has dual bass port on the back side of the speaker. This also means they are placement sensitive, and you need to leave a certain gap from the back wall.

Allow the speakers to run continuously for 72 hours. This is also known as a break-in period that allows the speaker drivers to play with full potential. While placing them leave a gap of 24” from back and side walls. Toe-in the speakers with the user to improve the imaging. The distance between speakers and speaker to user should be the same. If you have a CRT TV, place the speakers 2 ft. away from them.
