No dedicated rear channel (7.1 channel) but surround content produced by side-firing speakers on the bar is quite impressive and sounds seem to be coming from above you, behind you and on the sides.

The Sennheiser soundbar build quality is good. The fabric covers the front and sides is removable. So you can easelly clean it when it gets dirty.
The bar and the satellites have a similar build, with good-quality plastic. The metal grilles to help protect the drivers. The sub is mostly made of wood.
